STEM Academy
Studying at the STEM Academy means transforming groundbreaking ideas into reality through the power of science, mathematics, engineering, and technology. Progress is renowned for its award-winning projects, securing victories in prestigious competitions and nurturing brilliant young inventors. Our students consistently excel in the Leonardo da Vinci Student Inventors and Researchers and Millennium Innovation competitions. Each year, STEM Academy students secure top nominations. In 2024, Progress proudly won the Millennium Innovation Competition, earning a once-in-a-lifetime study visit to the NASA Space Center in the United States. Additionally, a brilliant project co-author who secured third place in the same competition had the extraordinary opportunity to visit Switzerland's European Center for Nuclear Research (CERN). These successes provide exceptional students with firsthand experience in cutting-edge technological advancements worldwide. Education at the STEM Academy is enriched with state-of-the-art resources and utilizes the pioneering "Real-Virtual" program by Davit Songhulashvili. This innovative program has been a cornerstone of student-led projects, consistently driving their remarkable success. The academy's rigorous and dynamic educational process is guided by visionary mentors Uta Kilasonia and Marekh Mazanashvili. Under their expert leadership, students' inventive ideas evolve through multiple transformative stages, culminating in extraordinary projects. At the STEM Academy, students master:
The STEM Academy aims to cultivate spatial and programmatic thinking through hands-on projects, immersive construction challenges, and engaging educational games. Through exciting experiments and realistic simulations, students also develop expertise in:
At Progress, students don't just learn—they create. They design, refine, and bring to life groundbreaking products, integrating key concepts from mathematics, chemistry, engineering, and science to develop practical and transformative solutions. |
